Janná Giles was exposed to yoga as a child, and as an adult, discovered its connection to the tripod of life; body-mind-spirit. As a busy advertising professional, her yoga practice provided the necessary stress release to stay focused, productive, and grounded. As a dance teacher and performer, yoga nurtured her taxed body and moved her creative spirit. In early 2005, Janná attended yoga teacher trainings and soon thereafter started teaching classes and private lessons. In 2007, Janná attended a Prana Vinyasa® (Prana Flow®) yoga teacher training with Shiva Rea, and was so inspired that she immediately enrolled in the certification program. Through this training, she was introduced to yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda, and consulted an Ayurvedic professional for problems with migraines, and insomnia. Ignited by the transformation she experienced through both practices, she began her Ayurvedic certification. In parallel, while working with her own powerful life coach, Janná was encouraged to leap toward sharing her knowledge and passions, and in 2011 left a 20 year career to dedicate herself to helping others.
As a senior-level 500-hour certified yoga instructor and 300-hour certified Living Ayurvedic Consultant, Janná is passionate, dynamic and well versed in the expanse and subtleties of her heart-centered, soul-inspired crafts. With her life-long commitment to always be a student first, she continues to study Ayurveda, is a member of Shiva Rea’s 1,008 hour Professional Program, and continues to follow areas of study that ignite her creative juices. Through yoga, Ayurveda and life coaching, Janná has the ability to challenge, connect with and inspire a variety of audiences; from long-time devoted yoga practitioners to stressed out business professionals, and shares her passions of living an inspired, radiant and joy-filled life.
